Description

If you are wanting to give kayaking a go for the first time this is the perfect course for you. This session will take place on a calm stretch of the River Leam. After an introduction to your equipment, our instructors will take you out onto the river, up through the gardens and into the nature reserve. Along the way you will learn the basic skills of boat control, efficient turning and forwards paddling. Our instructors will support you along the way and give any advice needed.

This course is for you if: You have never tried kayaking before, or have had a go and enjoyed it, and would like to start to develop your skills.

 

Times:

Weekends: 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Weekdays: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
