Junior White Water River Trip

This is a fun day out working on moving water skills that really pushes your paddling ability up a notch (but be warned they will want to do it again!).

This is a fun day out on white water exploring a new river. As part of the river trip we will explore the skills needed to run rapids, cross the flow and catch eddies. As well as this we will look at how to keep yourself and others safe on the river using throwlines, practicing rescues and looking at group signals.

For those that have attended stage 4 this river trip will mean you start to work through the white water section of your booklet. As these are very advanced skills it will take a few river trips to consolidate these skills.

This trip will allow you to work towards the Paddle UK White Water award. Please contact if this is something you would like to do.

This course is for you if: You have completed stage 4 of our kids kayaking courses and want to push your skills further. Perfect for those new or been on white water a few times. Our min age is generally 11 (however if you have a young prodigy give us a call!)

We will meet at the river (details confirmed upon booking), and will aim to paddle from 9.30am till 4pm approx.
