Paddle sports Safety and Rescue (PSRC) Resources:
The PSRC is the perfect course for those looking to develop their safety and rescue skills in a sheltered water environment. In this handy video from Paddle UK, you will be shown what the day will be like and what to expect!

Throughout this course there are also some acronyms used here they are shown and explained for you:
- Shout, Reach, Throw, Row, Go
- STeCE – Self, Team, Casualty, Equipment
- CLAP – Communication, Line of Sight, Avoidance, Positioning
Paddle Sport Instructor Award resources (Level 1):
Don’t forget if you’re planning on doing this course you’ll need to of completed your PSRC, be a member of your home nation (British Canoeing, Canoe Wales, Canoe Scotland or Canoe Northern Ireland) and have registered for the course – registration guidance further down.
The Paddle Sport Instructor E-learning is strongly recommended completing before this course:
Coach Award resources (level 2):
The journey towards achieving your coach award is one that includes many steps, such as your Core Coach Training and Discipline Specific Training (DST)
